About the Market Hall

Welcome to the Market Hall - where great value meets huge choice.  The Market Hall is Shrewsbury's best covered shopping complex for a wide range of quality products at low prices from friendly, independent traders.  On two floors covering an area the size of a football pitch, there are more than 45 retailers selling everything from organic vegetables to antiques and collectables.  The central area is a pannier-type market with canopied stalls.  Retailers don't bring their products in panniers any more but traditional principles still apply - the majority of produce is grown locally and delivered fresh in the mornings.  

So if you're looking for something a little different, inspirational, fresh and value for money, visit the Market Hall...it's a unique experience.

The market trades on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, butchers, fishmonger and delicatessen on Thursday mornings, Fridays and Saturdays, however, some stallholders choose to trade five days a week, namely Bottom Dollar Beats.

There are two public entrances and a combination of staircases and public lifts serve the upper floors.  Other services include public toilets.  There is on street parking outside and larger, surfaced car parks nearby.
