* JP Fruits are offering home delivery of fresh fruit and veg and bedding and basket plants to all Shropshire SY and TF postcodes with deliveries to different areas on different days of the week. They offer a choice of set boxes without potatoes and with potatoes, mixed fruit and veg boxes and fruit boxes at £20 each (£22.50 with potatoes). They also offer boxes of mixed bedding and basket plants, ranging from £15 to £24. All plants are collected from a local nursery and delivered to different areas over the following two days.

* Maddocks Fresh Produce are taking orders for home deliveries Tuesdays to Saturdays (minimum order £20 plus a delivery charge). Email the items you would like along with contact details to [email protected] or telephone Maddocks on 07969 696235 for more information.

Maddocks can also include other market produce on request, such as small orders of meat, artisan cheeses, delicatessen items and bread. Maddocks are also currently selling bread from a local artisan bakery and Shipton Mill organic white bread flour. Payments are welcome by BACs, cheques or cash on delivery. Two to three days notice is ideal for delivery slots. The market stall is open Tuesdays to Saturdays.

* Barkworths Seafoods is delivering to SY1, SY2 and SY3 postal areas Tuesdays to Saturdays. To order please email a specific list to [email protected]. Payment by card over the phone or cash on delivery. Stall open in the market Tuesdays to Saturdays (Thursdays until lunchtime).

* Corbetts Butchers are offering a home delivery service where you can include fish, fruit, veg, bread and deli items along with your meat order. Or you can instead opt to collect from the stall. Free delivery to SY1, SY2 and SY3 postcodes for meat orders over £25. Simply phone 01743 232410 and leave details of your order. Payment can be made over the phone, BACs or cash on delivery. Stall open in the market Tuesdays to Saturdays (Thursday until lunchtime).

John Bliss Butchers are offering free delivery to Shrewsbury and Telford areas on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. They are happy to include fruit and veg, bread and other food items from the market. Ring 01743 343340. Pay by BACs or cash on delivery. Stall open in the market Tuesdays to Saturdays (Thursdays until lunchtime).

* William Dodd Butchers are offering free local delivery Tuesdays to Fridays, with a minimum spend of £25. All their meat is locally sourced with beef hung and matured for 21-28 days. See their special offers on their Facebook page @WilliamDoddButchers. Local eggs are also available. To order, please ring 07976 224040. Card payment over the phone is preferred. *Hopesay Glebe Farm is delivering organic fruit and veg and eggs within the Shrewsbury area on Fridays and Saturdays and the Craven Arms area on other days. Free delivery with a minimum order of £20. Email [email protected]. Stall open to visit in the market Fridays and Saturdays.

* Black Box Spice Company is delivering its range of specialist spice blends that can transform any dish, along with store cupboard condiments, sauces, chutneys, oils, vinegar and cooking pastes, along with artisan and gluten-free pasta. Free delivery to SY1 to SY3 postcodes for orders of £20 or over and a delivery charge of £2.50 for local orders under £20. National and international delivery is also available. * Iron & Rose wine specialist is delivering locally and nationally. Visit the online shop for details. Stall in the market is currently open Tuesdays and Wednesdays 11am – 3pm, Fridays 11am – 4pm and Saturdays 10am – 4pm. A click and collect service is also available.

* Gindifferent has launched a brand new local delivery service so you can get your hands on your favourite local gins, rums and wines, all without leaving your house! They are also offering gorgeous gift hampers and vouchers. All are now available for free home delivery to SY1-SY5 postcodes. All gins and rums also come with two free perfect serve mixers. With its commanding clock tower, the award winning Shrewsbury Market Hall stands proud between Shoplatch and Claremont Street. Since 1965 it has been home to many traders, offering fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and poultry, fresh fish, delicatessen, books, china, antiques, collectables and contemporary arts and crafts to name a few.

So if you're looking for something a little different, inspirational, fresh and value for money, visit the Market's a unique experience.

The market trades on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, however, some stallholders open on Thursdays from 9.00am to 2.00pm. Please see opening hours for further information.

There are two public entrances and a combination of staircases and public lifts serve the upper floors. Other services include public toilets. There is on street parking outside and larger, surfaced car parks nearby.  Sorry, but dogs, with the exception of Guide Dogs, are not allowed in the market.
